Nickole Hines-Staples, MA, CCC-SLP, BIES joined the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at UT in December of 2017. She received her MA in Audiology and Speech Science from Michigan State University in 2006. Her experience includes treatment and assessment of neonate through geriatric patients in multiple settings, supervision of graduate students and clinical fellows, as well as presenting on neonatal feeding and swallowing. In addition to her clinical work, she has been supervising and instructing in academia since 2014.
Mrs. Hines-Staples is currently collaborating with the Dell Medical School to generate hands-on learning opportunities for graduate students with modified barium swallow studies. Her areas of interest include infant feeding and swallowing, dysphagia across the lifespan and voice disorders.
