Ann M. Hillis, M.S., CCC-SLP (1980), M.B.A. (1999), became Director of the Speech and Hearing Center in August 1999. Ms. Hillis coordinates graduate student clinical training, supervises clinical practica and coordinates client services through the UT Speech and Hearing Center. Ms. Hillis' work as a speech pathologist spans twenty-six years and includes settings in the public schools, home health, residential treatment for brain injured patients, hospitals and rehabilitation centers. A longstanding interest in business led her back to school in 1997 to pursue an Executive M.B.A. Her areas of business expertise include business strategy, quality management and regulatory compliance.
